Every year, the Texas Workforce Commission, in partnership with 28 local Workforce Areas and the Texas Veterans Commission, sponsors a statewide veterans and military spouses job fair in November.

Workforce Solutions of Central Texas’ programming provides training services for veterans, military transitioning service members, and spouses of service members through a specialized grant designed to help those in our military community. The funding is provided through the National Dislocated Worker Grant (NDW) and is intended to provide workforce training services at Fort Hood and in the seven counties surrounding the installation to service members and their spouses dislocated by delays caused by the pandemic.
