One of our main goals is to increase the skillset of the Central Texas labor force. Because of this, grant programs focus on degree and certification programs in high-demand occupations of the region. To be considered for assistance, we must verify you are eligible and conduct testing to evaluate your ability to successfully complete the program of study. A criminal background check may be required for some programs, including medical and truck driving.
This list represents occupations in the area with a high demand for qualified workers. This list will change periodically based on the local economy, labor market conditions and availability of funding. To qualify for grants, you must first be accepted into one of the programs on this list.
