Workforce Solutions of Central Texas and Temple College Launch Industrial Automation Foundation Program for Military Spouses

Fully Funded by Scholarships – Starts September 29

TEMPLE, Texas – Workforce Solutions of Central Texas, in partnership with Temple College, is proud to announce the launch of the Industrial Automation Foundation Program, a 20-week training opportunity fully funded by scholarships. This program is designed specifically for spouses of active-duty military members who are unemployed or underemployed, offering them a direct path to in-demand careers in advanced manufacturing and robotics.

The program begins September 29 at Temple College and will run Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM. Eligible participants will pay no tuition or out-of-pocket costs thanks to scholarships that cover the full cost of training.

Program Benefits and Certifications:

Industrial Automation Foundations Certificate (8 weeks)

Robotics Integration and Manufacturing Certificate (12 weeks)

Career pathways include manufacturing technician, robotics technician, and automation technician roles. Graduates can expect starting wages of $22–$26 per hour.

Mandatory Information Session & Orientation:

September 22, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Workforce Center at Temple College

Activities will include program orientation, a campus tour, student ID distribution, and a complimentary lunch.
