Hiring Event, an initiative connecting veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses with prospective employers.More than 100 employers from across the state and neighboring states have signed up to participate in this event.
The Hiring Red, White & You! event is a part of the annual statewide initiative hosted by the Texas Workforce Commission, now celebrating its 13th year. Texas is home to more than 1.5 million veterans, and it is our privilege to partner with the Texas Workforce Commission, Texas Medical Center, Transition Assistance Program, and fellow workforce partners across the state to provide this essential service.
While this hiring event prioritizes helping Texans who served, the event is open to civilians. They will need to have a military ID or visitor pass to attend. A visitor pass can be obtained at Marvin Leath Visitors Welcome Center.
Registration is not required.
