WSCT Hosts Hiring Event in Hamilton County
HAMILTON, Texas – Workforce Solutions of Central Texas will host a hiring event for Hamilton County on Thursday, April 20th at the Hamilton County Courthouse.
The event is an opportunity for residents to visit with employers from the county and some neighboring counties. It comes at a time when new, well-trained talent is needed, as the population continues to grow.
In February 2023, there were dozens of job postings in the area. The top occupations were: Food Service Managers, First-Line Supervisors of Retail Sales Workers, Home Health and Personal Care Aides, Police and Sheriff’s Patrol Officers, Dietitians and Nutritionists, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical and Licensed Vocational Nurses and Nursing Assistants.
“We are honored to host this hiring event, which will bring together an array of job-seekers and employers from across Hamilton County. Our goal is to create an inclusive environment where talented individuals can connect with businesses that share their values and offer exciting opportunities for growth and advancement,” said Susan Kamas, Executive Director at Workforce Solutions of Central Texas.
