Frequently Asked Questions

Everyone is different. Student success is usually determined by the amount of time a person is able to commit to study for the GED. You may be ready for some sections of the test, but need to work longer on other sections.

You may take a practice exam at any time to determine your readiness for the official exam.

After you complete the orientation, you may attend classes any time they are held, depending on the site schedule and regulations.

Let your instructor know if you won’t be able to attend classes. They may be able to give you work you can complete while you are out so that you can keep focused on preparing for the HSE (GED). An extended absence will require approval.
